Garlic Honey Wild Alaska Sockeye Salmon with Steamed Green Beans and Brussel Sprouts… this is a mouthful, but it’s a HEALTHY mouthful!
I made this last Friday night for Brent and I {having the leftover salmon this week}, but this would be the perfect meal for at least a party of 4! Serve with a side of cooked quinoa or brown rice and you have the perfect balanced meal!
I love broiling my salmon. It comes out perfect, ever time! They key to getting the caramelized color??? The honey in the marinade!

Garlic Honey Wild Alaska Sockeye Salmon with Steamed Green Beans and Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients
- For the fish:
- 8-13oz Wild Alaska Sockeye Salmon Filet
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Tbl. honey
- 1 Tbl. lemon juice
- 1/4 cup high heat oil, like avocado oil
- 1 Tsp. dijon (it you want it tangy)
- Pink Salt & pepper to taste

- Veggies:
- 10 oz brussel sprouts
- Avocado cooking spray
- 10 oz fresh green beans
- 2 Tbl. sheeps milk feta
- 1 Tbl. honey
- Pink salt & pepper to taste
Directions
- Step 1 Pat fish filet dry with paper towel, pink salt and pepper.
- Step 2 Combine all marinade ingredients together and add to a large shallow baking dish to marinade fish at least 4 hours.
- Step 3 Place marinated fish on a foiled baking sheet and broil 10 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes after removed from the oven.
- Step 4 For the veggies: trim brussel sprouts and slice in half.
- Step 5 In a steam basket, steam brussel sprouts for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to a baking sheet. Spray with avocado baking spray, garlic powder, pink salt & pepper. Roast on 400, 5-10 minutes depending on how crispy you like them. **NOTE** Roasting the brussel sprouts is optional. Steaming them will work just fine.
- Step 6 While the brussel sprouts are roasting, trim green beans and steam 5-10 mins.
- Step 7 Sprinkle crumbed feta and drizzle honey on the roasted brussel sprouts and serve with broiled fish, steamed green beans, and fresh lemon slices, enjoy!
