By:

Ingredients
  • 1 pound of Moink box Pasture-raised Bacon
  • 2- 8oz cans of whole water chestnuts
  • 1- 10oz bottle of teriyaki sauce of choice {I used low sodium Kikkoman}
  • *optional: soaked tooth picks for baking
Directions
  • Step 1 Rinse and drain both cans of water chestnuts. Place the water chestnuts into a bowl.
  • Step 2 Empty the entire bottle of teriyaki sauce to the bowl with the water chestnuts to marinade overnight or fort at least 4 hours.
  • Step 3 When you’re ready to bake, preheat oven to 375.
  • Step 4 While oven is preheating: cut the package of bacon in half right down the middle. Start wrapping the water chestnuts with one of the halves of bacon.
  • Step 5 Place bacon-wrapped water chestnuts on a backing sheet, seam-side down. * If they don’t hold, feel free to use tooth picks. Just make sure they have soaked in water for an hour so they don’t get burned.
  • Step 6 Bake in the oven for 25-30 minute until the bacon gets crispy. May set on the broiler for the last minute for extra crispiness. Serve on a platter for your next party, enjoy!
